A zone designed for reading storybooks, talking, engaging in quiet reflection and listening to music.

Children love stories. The outdoor story telling area from Educational Landscapes adds an extra dimension of the outdoor environment.

Children can also use this area to eat and drink outdoors.

Ideas to consider:

• Size of area will depend upon its proposed use
• Zone should be sited in shade or semi-shade and where children can move freely between it and another open area (ie away from area of high levels of activity).
